Oppo brings luxury to the mix with the release of the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition. This kind of reminds you of the Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design which is the luxury version of the Huawei P20 Pro. Both smartphones are a product of the affiliation with luxury Automobile brands and are reflected in the extravagant price tags. The smartphone is to go on sale with a $600 difference from the ordinary premium flagship and has only a few upgrades from the Oppo Find X.

Now the main highlight of the Lamborghini Edition is the beautiful Carbon fibre texture rear panel it has rather than the glossy back present in the ordinary version. There is also the Lamborghini logo at the rear just towards the bottom if that counts for anything. Gone is the smudge magnet associated with the glass finish but everything else still remains the same in terms of size and design. There is also the pop camera as well as a USB Type-C port at the bottom flanked by a mono speaker.
Everything remains the same up front with the impressive all screen charade and ever so reduced bezels. Also with a size of 6.42-inch, the smartphone has the same visual characteristics as the Find X. There are 1080 x 2340 pixels and, of course, an AMOLED screen which is a flagship-grade.
Battery and CameraIt’s quite surprising that the Oppo FInd X Lamborghini Edition has a reduced battery capacity which is unexpected considering this is meant to be the better model. This smartphone has a 3, 400mAh battery capacity which is down by 300mAh compared to the Oppo Find X. You also have the incredibly fast Super VOOC Charge that takes you up to 100% from 0% in just 35mins.
There is bound not to be any difference between pictures captured by both smartphones in the real sense. The Oppo FInd X Lamborghini Edition has about the exact same cameras as the ordinary FInd X. On the pop-up module, you’ve got a 16MP alongside a 20MP rear-facing camera with all the features included in the FInd X. On the other hand, there is a 25MP camera for selfies and 3D face unlock feature.
Hardware and SoftwareInside, you have the flagship chipset from Qualcomm same as a bunch of other premium smartphones. The processor being talked about is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with eight cores and the Adreno 630 GPU that it comes with. This nothing but the best SoC you can ask for at the moment and should do your bidding with the snap of a finger.
In addition, a whopping 8GB internal memory space is provided in combination with 512GB storage space with no SD card support. You get the latest Android 8.1 Oreo and even the Android P (9th version) beta upgrade available to play with. All of this comes with the ColorOS 5.1 UI in place with its own addition from the desk of Oppo.
Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition Price and AvailabilityWhen it goes on sale in August, the asking price is set at around 577, 000 Naira based on the deal you get or the location you are buying from.

Premium smartphones competition has never gotten more fierce than this, with a number of OEMs trying to best each other in the race of innovation. We’ve seen the tri-camera of the Huawei P20 Pro, under screen fingerprint scanner from Vivo X20 UD and so on. After only a while of Vivo Nex entering with the astonishing screen to body ratio only to be beaten by the Oppo Find X. The new smartphone is graced with a pop up slide bearing both the front and rear camera.

Design and Display
The Oppo Find X is the definition of premium, featuring a flagship glass build that boasts of great aesthetics. Typical of glass finish, the Oppo Find X shimmer when it catches the light and is quite a smudge magnet too. On a good side, the smartphone is not slippery and proves to be quite comfortable to handle. The smartphone also has a motorized pop mechanism for its cameras which leaves both surfaces bear except for the screen at the front and Oppo emblazoned at the rear.
What Oppo is really selling in this flagship is its display. Not the revolution because it is lesser than you have in some flagship but how well it covers the front of the smartphone. With a staggering 93.8% screen to body ratio, the flagship is top of the list in that category. I should also point out that the display is curved at the side and has a just tiny bit of bezel mostly at the bottom. The screen is a 6.42-inch AMOLED display, one with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
Battery and CameraPower is not your problem at all with the Oppo Find X. It comes with enough juice locked up inside to take you through the day and beyond. Having up to a capacity of 3, 730mAh. the smartphone is significantly above the average line. Shipping with Oppo’s own VOOC Super Fast Charge that brings you yo 100% from scratch in just 35 minutes is remarkable.
In regards to the Hip Hop camera – pun intended, there is a premium grade dual rear camera and a spectacular selfie camera which is also used for the O-Face unlock. Made up of a 16MP primary camera with optical image stabilization and assisted by a 20MP camera, Oppo promises nothing short of stunning on the rear side. The front 25MP camera is tagged as Stealth 3D camera because of its 3D mapping capability which helps to capture a better image as well as for security.
Hardware and SoftwareFor added security, since you don’t have a fingerprint biometric option, there is an IR for a better face unlock in the dark. As you go further, you have the fastest of Qualcomm chipset on this one just like you have in other flagships. That is the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 which guarantees premium performance as well as an Adreno 630 GPU to follow.
Also, you will find a solid 8GB RAM on the Oppo Find X which is more than enough for a smooth performance in line with varying storage options from 128GB to 256GB with no expansion option. You have the latest software installed (I. e. Android 8.1 Oreo) with an option to try out the Android P beta in the works. Trying out the Android P is not advisable considering there will be several bugs as it has not been officially launched.

A follow up of last year’s Moto Z2 Play is officially on the roster and is as you know it more of a mid-ranger unlike the Force model of the Z-series. The new Moto Z3 Play has a redefined outlook and some improvements here and there. However, there’s a no drastic change in the build because of the need for it to still support the Moto Mods. Parts of the improvements to watch out for include a better camera, faster performance and an improved software.
The making of the smartphone sees a switch to the latest outlook most smartphone adopt and that is the 18:9 and the reduction in bezels which see that the smartphone accommodates more display. There is a little of bezel space at the bottom on which Motorola is crested while the one at the top houses the sensors, camera and the only speaker on the smartphone. At the rear panel, the camera module protrudes from the back making it impossible for the smartphone to ordinarily lie flat on its back.
Coming to the display on the smartphone, the stage is now bigger without necessarily having an overly large smartphone. Pitched at 6.01-inch, the Moto Z3 Play is backed up by a Super AMOLED screen with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. This is quite colourful and with the nice contrast known with the display type that is used.
Battery and CameraIt maintains the same battery from its predecessor, although, there is a tendency for this smartphone to last longer with a more efficient power conserving chipset. That said, there is a 3, 000mAh battery which is good enough but could go longer with a battery module attached to the smartphone.
As for the optics, the smartphone takes a step in the right direction with a better camera at both the front and the rear. The Moto Z3 Play joins the bandwagon of dual rear camera smartphones with a 12MP and 5MP camera combo. Selfies are left to an 8MP camera with a f/2.0 aperture, good enough for your social media upload.
Hardware and SoftwareAccording to Asus, the Moto Z3 Play is 30% faster than its predecessor thanks to a bump in the SoC used which is also from Qualcomm. Speaking on the chipset, there are eight cores on the Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636 processor in conjunction with an Adreno 509 graphics processing unit.
There is a 4GB RAM which is available with either 32GB or 64GB built-in storage space and a more premium one with 6GB paired with 128GB of space. To get more storage, there is a chance to do this up to 512GB which will probably not reached by most of its user. Moreso, there is Android 8.1 Oreo which is not too heavily modified.
Moto Z3 Play Pricing and AvailabilityThe smartphone is available in a selected number of online stores but not readily and would cost about 83, 000 Naira for the normal model depending on your location and the deal.
Here are a few specs of the Moto Z3 Play:
General Features Platform: Android 8.1 Oreo Processor: Octa-core Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636 GPU: Adreno 509 Memory: 4GB/6GB RAM Colours: Bordeaux Red, Midnight Black and Champagne Gold Dimension: 156.5 x 76.5 x 6.8 mm Weight: 156g SIM Type: Nano sim SIM Count: Dual sim Display Display: 6.01-inch, Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 1080 x 2160 pixels (402 ppi) Screen Protection: Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Camera Rear Camera: Dual 12MP + 5MP camera, 2160@30fps, 1080p Video@30/60fps Rear Camera Features: Autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama Front Camera: 8MP camera, 720p Video@30fps Storage Built-in Storage: 32GB/64GB/128GB Memory Card Support: Yes, up to 512GB Bundled Cloud Storage: – Network Support 2G GSM: Yes 2G CDMA 1X: – 3G WCDMA: Yes 3G CDMA EVDO: – 4G LTE: LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 28(700) Internet & Connectivity GPRS: Yes EDGE: Yes 3G/WCDMA/HSPA: Yes HSPA+: Yes CDMA EVDO: – 4G LTE: Yes WLAN: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct Wi-Fi Hotspot: Yes Bluetooth: Yes, v5.0 with A2DP, LE, AptX NFC: – Infrared Blaster: – USB Port: USB Type-C 3.1 Messaging SMS/MMS: Yes Instant Messaging: Yes Push Emails: Yes Email Protocol: – Entertainment Music Player: MP3/AAC+/WAV/Flac player Video Player: MP4/H.264 player FM Radio: Yes Loudspeaker: Yes 3.5mm Jack: Yes Navigation Navigation: Yes, with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS Maps: Yes Sensors & Control Digital Compass: Yes Accelerometer: Yes Proximity Sensor: Yes Light Sensor: Yes Barometer: – SpO2: – Pedometer: – Heart Rate Monitor: – Gyroscope: Yes Fingerprint Scanner: Yes, (right=side) Iris Scanner: – Face Unlock: Yes Intelligent Digital Assistant: – Motion Sensing / Gesture Control: – Voice Control: – Other Features Video Streaming: Yes Active Noise Cancellation: Yes Wireless Charging: – Built-in Mobile Payment: – Water Resistant: – Dust Resistant: – Image Editor: Yes Video Editor: Yes Document Viewer: Yes Document Editor: Yes Battery Battery: 3, 000mAh non removable Li-Ion battery Talktime: – Standby Time: – Fast Charging: YesThe post Moto Z3 Play Specs and Price appeared first on Nigeria Technology Guide.
Online shopping is clearly the future. When ecommerce was first introduced, people were skeptical of its use, but today about 80% of all US consumers shop online on a regular basis and it is believed that online shopping will soon beat brick and mortar store due to the benefits ecommerce offers to both buyers and sellers.
There are many reasons behind the success of online shopping. Firstly, you can get everything online, from a paper egg tray making machine to your next bedroom set. Other than this, items are also much more affordable on the internet, which allows you to save money.
However, you need to be a smart shopper to be able to save. To help you in this regard, given below are some tips on how to save money when shopping online:
1. Search On The InternetThe most important thing is to know how to search for what you need. This is where keywords come to play.
Just go to Google, type what you need and add the word cheapest with it. This will show you all the websites that offer the said product at the cheapest price.
For example, if you need to buy furniture in NYC, you can search for ‘cheapest furniture NYC’, and you will see all the website that offer furniture in NYC at low rates.
You can then open all the sites and compare prices to pick one that falls within your budget.
2. Use The Filter OptionAlmost all ecommerce sites allow you to filter products based on price. If you are looking for something in a specific budget or at the lowest price, you can set the price filter accordingly to filter out all items that are outside of your budget.
3. Look For SalesJust like physical stores, online stores also offer products on sale, i.e: at discounted prices.
This is usually done to get rid of the old stock and introduce new items. You can look for such sales and save money.
4. Use CouponsThe competition among online websites is stiff which is why they often offer discount codes to both old and new customers to lure them.
You can find such coupons by searching online. Plus, you can also subscribe to newsletters as many sites offer such discount coupons through newsletters. This way you will never lose on ‘em.
5. Cash Back WebsitesThis service gets you a certain percentage of the expenditure back to you. Suppose you bought a product for $300 from a website that offers 10% cash back service. You will get $30 back into your account under 90 days of time.
However, this method can usually be available only if you pay in a specific manner, such as using your credit card.
Just keep these simple but effective tips in mind to save money when shopping online. The key lies in searching the web for the most affordable product.

To sell your old iPhone, simply go online and begin searching for the best deals on different smartphone selling sites. If you are willing to earn some potential income in exchange for your old iPhone, in my opinion, approaching a reputable comparison site is one of the best things to do. Mobile recycling comparison websites not only offer the topmost deals without any hassle but also help you promote the healthy environment in the country.
So, whether you have bored with your old iPhone and now thinking of upgrading it, or simply your phone is getting old and having some problems, you should consider selling it.
Random Shutdowns on Your iPhone or iPad – The Most Common ProblemIt is no question that both iPhones and iPads are probably the most versatile and feature-rich gadgets in the world. But where the well-loved Apple device is definitely a joy to have and to use, it can run into a couple of problems now and then.
One of the most common problems is random shutdowns on your iPhone or iPad you may encounter. When an iPhone or iPad shuts down suddenly while the battery still remains 20 %, 30% or even 50%, it can slow down the device or even sometimes make it unresponsive.
Apple Inc. relates this issue with battery-related problems, featuring it is because of lithium-ion batteries used in both iPhone and iPad running iOS 10 or previous versions. Furthermore, the ageing of the device and charging cycles may also lead to the sudden shutdowns. In case, if you have the oldest iPhone that is facing this issue, it is recommended to sell it and get a new one. Otherwise, you can replace the battery to fix this issue.
However, you can also try to fix this problem yourself and boost the speed of your iPhone or iPad without spending a single penny. Here I am going to tell you some useful tips that you should follow if your Apple device is shutting down unexpectedly.
How to Prevent Random Shutdowns on Your iPhone Or iPad? Update the SoftwareIf your iPhone or iPad is shutting down unexpectedly, chances are that it may be because of an issue on the system software. In the past years, so many people reported that their Apple devices suddenly powered themselves off before the battery hit zero. Then, Apple came up with iOS 10.2.1 to better handle this battery issue, resulting in 80% fewer shutdowns on iPhones and iPads.
So, if your device is running old operating system then you should update it to iOS 10.2.1 or later. It will help you to fix random shutdowns on your gadget. To do so, launch Settings App > General > Software Update > tap on download and install and then enter your passcode and confirm it for system software updates.
Before updating the iOS, it is recommended to create a backup via iCloud or iTunes. However, if this trick did not work and you are still facing the same issue, you should consider the next tricks.
Calibrate Your PhoneIf you are experiencing unexpected shutdowns on your Apple device, it might be because of an app not loading or closing appropriately. You can calibrate your phone to fix this issue. Though it is the easiest and fastest way of fixing your home button, it won’t work every time.
To do this, simply launch one of the native apps such as Clock or Weather. Next, press and hold the sleep button and release when the “Slide to Power Off” bar appears. Now, press the home button and keep holding at least 5-10 seconds or until the app is closed and the phone returns to the home screen.
Force RestartWhether your iPhone or iPad keeps shutting down prematurely or its battery is draining so fast, you can try the simple trick of Force restart. A forced/ hard restart can bring your Apple device back to the fully-working state by fixing these common issues.
To do so, all you need to do is to press and hold down the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button simultaneously and release after 5 seconds or until you see an Apple logo on the screen. Hence, in case of iPhone 7 or latest models, press the Volume button because newer iPhones do have the Home button.
Once your Apple device has restarted, check to see if the problems occur again or not. If they persist, go on to the next trick.
Plug-InIf your Apple device is promptly discharging or randomly shutting down, plug it in. Once the charging cable is connected, you will see that the device starts to charge and now you can read the battery level. If you see little to no charging, it means something exhausted your battery. If you see the battery is partially or fully charged at that moment then your Apple device may have another problem.
To fix this issue, you can try to charge your iPhone or iPad by plugging into a wall outlet. The reason is that sometimes plugging it into the USB port of your Mac or PC does not work since they can’t give your gadget enough power. So, charge it through an outlet for at least one hour. If it is unable to charge your device, try using a different charging cable, a different USB port or a different outlet plug. Once it starts responding, look at your device and see if it shuts down again. If not, it’s really great. If so, then consider the next option.
Restore as NewThe next way to fix the issue of unexpected shutdowns is to restore the device as new. You can restore your Apple gadget in two ways but to overcome this issue in a safe manner, restoring your iPhone or iPad through iTunes is a better option than iColud because it actually involves offloads, re-installs and, reloads your data instead of doing all things in-place.
Let’s take a look at how to restore an iPhone or iPad via iTunes: Connect the device to a Mac or PC and launch iTunes. Choose the device and then click on Back Up Now. Wait for this to finish. Then click on Restore iPhone or iPad to restore your backup that you just made. After restoring your device, if you are still facing the same issue of random shutdowns, then you can take it to a mobile repair specialist to fix it.

Battery and CameraThere is a considerably large battery power or as you might have it an ample power capacity. That is a 4, 000mAh battery, that should serve you well for a day on normal intensive usage. There is no USB Type-C just the normal MicroUSB port with no fast charge meaning charging will take about 2hrs.
As for the most important feature for picture lovers, there is quite a decent enough camera to give a good picture. Although, low light is the undoing of all budget smartphone’s camera, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro performs impressively. The rear has a double camera including a 12MP and 5MP sensor with LED flash in between. On the other hand, you just have a single 5MP selfie camera in the notch.
Hardware and SoftwareHere it is commendable that the smartphone comes with a fair Qualcomm SoC which is responsible for keeping things going. With eight cores, Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 performs better paired with other parts of the spec list part of which is an Adreno 512 GPU.
The rest of them includes a 3GB RAM in bed with 32GB of internal storage space. It gets better with a more premium version having 4GB and 64GB internal storage space. The two versions have an expansion limit of 256GB and boots Android 8.1 Oreo from the get-go alongside MIUI 9.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Pricing and AvailabilityThe price is expected to start at around 63, 000 Naira in various online stores and smartphone retail outlets depending on your location.
