Doogee is a Chinese brand that offers very affordable products something the Chinese smartphone makers are known for. However, it represents well with the Doogee Y8 entry-level smartphone which is crafted stylishly in a way that adds more value to it. It features a water drop notch which is something you don’t see often at this price point and adds a dual camera at the rear. However, don’t get fooled by the whole charade, the smartphone is as budget as they come.
The Doogee Y8 is crafted to look more premium than it actually is, although, it still comes with a plastic body just like the rest of the similarly priced smartphones. This smartphone comes with a 19:9 aspect ratio, slim bezels and a notch on top of the display. There is Doogee written on the well sized bezel at the bottom of the screen and also at the back just below the fingerprint sensor. The display does look good from afar before it lights up and is betrayed by the lack of detail and punchy colours.
